CodeWright and CodeWright for .NET provide a very useful API Macro facility that reduces some of the tedium associated with API function development for a DLL using the C language.

tlaMDE provides an extension and refinement to the capabilities provided by CodeWright and CodeWright for .NET.

CodeWright Options

• Dialog Box provides a dialog box (at Tools | API Macros... allows you to edit, save, delete, and execute a macro from within the dialog box. if a few macros are being developed. It is more than adequate for the macro development needs of the casual user.

• Pro Build provides a professional solution for macro development from a CodeWright buffer containing your entire macro repository (cwright.mac). It provides many of the language support capabilties available for other programming languages in CodeWright for the professional user.

• Entire Library provides a less automated version of the Pro Build solution. It operates on a buffer containing your entire macro repository (cwright.mac).

• tlaMDE provides an extension and refinement to the Entire Library approach that operates on a "package" of macros instead of your entire macro repository (cwright.mac). It operates in a similar manner under both CodeWright and CodeWright for .NET.

CodeWright for .NET Options

• Dialog Box is not available in CodeWright for .NET.

• Pro Build is not available in CodeWright for .NET.
