Purpose

Cycle Through Display Modes.

Operation

This function cycles through the view states for the current edit window.

  • If in EDIT view select HEX view.

  • If in HEX view select LINE_HEX view.

  • If in LINE_HEX view select EDIT view.

If you assign this function to a button you can then use that single button to quickly select the display mode for the current buffer.

Installation

Perform the following steps:

  • Select the Code button on this page.
  • When the second window opens, select all the text in the text box.
  • Issue Ctl-C (copy).
  • Create a file in Visual SlickEdit with type Slick-C and extension ".e".
  • Issue Ctl-V (paste).
  • Issue Ctl-S (save).
  • Select PFK-12 to compile the macros.
